When your baby is sick when do you call the Dr?

No don't bring in her in. You are doing all the right things. The only time you take them in for a cold is if they have a high fever of 101 and over that has not broken with meds and lukewarm bath. The cough is her trying to clear the mucus. If the cough becomes barky or croupy then take her in for that. Also if the cold lasts more then 2 weeks my ped said to bring my girl in. If the mucus becomes green it is a sign of infection and bring in for that. If none of these things are happening then keep giving the saline, suction and love. Your doing great- the Doctor will just tell you to keep doing what you are doing
