How should I clean a huge cream shag run that now looks grey?

Just take it to the laundrymat and wash it in the BIG machine. A small amount of soap ADDED with the DRY rug at the beginning of the cycle and a bit of fabric softener in the final rinse will do just fine. Use the shortest or delicate cycle no matter the temperature (not hot but warm/cold is OK).
