Any career idea's? Struggling >.<?

Okay, well I'm sixteen, year 11 and the only thing I know I want to do is help young people. I was considering a children nurse, but the thing is I don't want to do A levels in college, I'd much rather do a vocational course, and I've been told I'd have to do A levels for that. I've been thinking recently and I'd like to help families and children suffering from abuse, but I don't know what that would be. Any idea's would be amazing, with the courses I'd have to do to get their if possible. Thanks. :]
